    Default Spinner painting box

I threw together this spinner painting box. I re-wired a corded drill to a dimmer switch, thereby eliminating the need to try and hold the trigger while painting. I screw the spinner on a #40 drill bit. This size bit fits very snug inside the spinner yer wont damage it. Next I am going to build a retractable articulating arm to hold the paint brush and paint the spinner for me (ok just kidding about that).

Neato! You could put the paint in little squirt bottles and make wild effects on your spinners...

have ya thought about adding another block of 2x?? next to the drill as a hand rest.. cut the block of wood a bit taller then the spinner so you can rest your hand on it and still reach the spinner

Not a bad idea. I'll have to try that

I went with a slightly more minimalist design.

Very cool. How funny we both used the blue j-box for our dimmer switch LOL.
