that's usually been called Treasure Boat, its a fun machine with cool grafics on the screen and has great Japanese style music

For what it's worth, the belly glass, (宝船) translates to TAKARABUNE.

my dad was given this machine but they're are no keys to get inside, any ideas on how to find a replacement key? he was told that it may be bad to just have the lock punched out?

was wondering if you know how to get a new key made or at least how to break into it without harming it, so tokens may be added for game play.

I have a local locksmith who has been great with making keys and coming up with replacement locks.
As for getting in the machine right now. Look for a hole in the cabinet (usually on the bottom) You should be able to reach in with a long screwdriver and manipulate the latch to open the machine up. You might get lucky and find the keys inside when it is open.
