Default Ever Cross Fit a Jackpot Mechanism One Manufacturerr to Another?

Ho All, been absent way too long and I'm baack (at least till the left hand gets cut on). Any hoodles, I have acquired a mid to late 60's(?) Three Star that appears to be complete save for the jackpot mechanism is missing the feed rocker / regulator part. Kinda important, huh? So I'm wondering if anyone has ever retrofit a jackpot unit on to a machine from another manufacturer and if it worked out? I am posting a pic below. I have a Daiichi, Mizuho, and Maruhon to scavenge from. Thanks, Dave

Sure looks like a Sanyo one would fit. How about putting it on a scanner into with a flat ruler (for sizing) and scan to a PDF? You might have to put it in a zip file to post it here.

Some of the other members might have that exact brand but I have not heard of it.

It could be possible as a lot of the smaller brands shared parts between some of the slightly bigger companies. I haven't tried it. The only thing that is difficult is perfectly lining up the chutes and making sure the arm has the right amount of swing. But it is probably possible.

    100 machines and counting...

This Sanyo piece is flat on the scanner. I think you'd have to print it and lay it upside down on your machine to see if the holes lined up. Does that make sense?

I can send you this one for $1,000,000 (Or Best Offer) and a PT gift.

What is the purpose of these points? I could care less about any sort of "standing", number of posts I or anyone else has made, number of thanks, etc but if they have some sort of value that enhances the functionality or betters the user's experience, I'd like to know. Otherwise anybody can have all of my points. Its not why I'm here.

Sure, I get that and forums are as much about socializing as they are about whatever the topic is. I just never knew what my trillions of points were for. Now that I know, anybody can still have them.

    Carl,

Looks like that might work. I'm kinda involved in another couple of Pachinko project so I won't be able to give it all the attention I can for a day or two. It printed true to size so I need to double check it against the game.
