I like it...but it just don't look right. The silver paint...the chrome shooter and knob...and even the shape of the cabinet, all just look strange to me. Plus the whole nickel thing. Using nickels is odd enough, but PAYING nickels as well? I thought Allwins only paid candy and gum...maybe prizes, never have I seen a cash paying Allwin! I am by no means an expert on Allwins, but first glance made me skeptical. I would still like to have it, it looks to be in fairly good condition, but I won't pay what it will likely bid up to. If I did have this particular one, I would do a bit of research to make sure it was correct...or not. If not, then I would strip off the paint and refinish the wood. The nickel thing, I would leave alone. Still a nice machine. I hope whoever wins it will post about it here!

The Allwins I play and have played do pay out coins!! some did payout a prize like a chocolate bar or roll of Polo mints and some used to dispense cigarettes back in the old days.

Some of the ones at the
Penny Memories arcade / museum now payout a wooden shaped block or roll in the dimensions of the chocolate bar etc, and you exchange that at the counter for your sweets prize. I remember winning rolls of 'polo' sweets when i was child. I always preferred to play the 'fruit polo' ones rather than the 'mint' ones

A lot of allwins pay out on coins, and old British Penny coin, which is a lot larger than modern 1 penny pieces. Allwins

Thanks Hanabi! That was the strangest part to me. I have only seen the ones for sale, and the ones that members have. All the FEW that I have seen paid something other than coins. Made the works a little more complex. It makes sense, with the 3 and 6, because...what else could that mean? The cell looked correct, The condition of the chrome makes it look newer, is the painted cabinet common for newer models? The large coin trough didn't look right also. If a newer model, this could be correct as well.

Still no change in price, but I did notice there's a video!! Looks cool!!

    Plioneer Slot Machine - YouTube

Since it pays out money, I think it'd be illegal in Indiana..But I think technically even pinball is still illegal here!!
