Tokie Owens?

Hey ya'll,

I've read some of the "what is a tokie owens" questions and no one seems willing to come forth with an answer. i did the search like was suggested...no luck. i can figure out that maybe it was d mowery who coined (or should i say tokened?) the phrase. it sounds as if maybe it's some rube from Tokoyo. but, to risk sounding dumb, would someone please explain this? yes, i'm from the south. but the truth is i just talk slow....i dont think slow. thanks for the help pachi folk!

In "These are the days of our lives", the thread named "Hot Damn!", CLAU gives you a clue to the "needle" in this haystack in post #10. It was a long thread that referred to the origin of a pachislo, and was just a lot of fun to watch at the time.

Since Tulsa put Tokie Owens as the beginning rank, I've been surprised that a few people have become kind of upset over not being able to figure it out.

At this time, Tokie Owens disappears at something like 30 posts... which (oddly enough?) seems to be about the same amount of posts it takes for new users learn that search function well.
