Default New UFO pachinko on ebay! (for now)

So... this UFO pachinko machine has been on ebay for about 10 days now and no one has made a post yet. I guess everyone wants to keep it secret so they can have it for themselves. 10 watchers tho, I bet at least 8 of those watcher are from this forum including myself. Who is willing to bid on this machine? I think I might. I haven't seen one of these in a great while, but never one to be that high in price. I'd love to win, but the person with the biggest pockets will become the victor; as stated many times in the forum. So good luck to everyone and I will talk to you after the bidding has commenced!

Nice! I would bid...but $400 starting bid takes me out of the game before it even starts! If I am not mistaken, this is one of Nishijins "special electric" series...like Power Roulette. Nice clean looking machine! Good Luck to anyone trying to win it!

I guess I am different. It would have to be one helluva modern pachinko before I dropped $400+ for it. Vintage just doesn't do "it" for me. I am actually amazed the seller got a bid.

I love my vintage machines...but I wouldn't pay $400 for a PowerFlash. I do like the "special electric" series!

Power flashes can get up there in price but rarely. The Special Electric series ones though command high prices and are very hard to find.
Personally regular pachinkos are just too boring to play for any length of time. But I would definitely pay >400 for an arrangeball or very early single shot. The former because they're quite a bit of fun to play and the latter from more of a historical significance and art stance.

The pinball I'd like to get is the Star Wars Episode 1 / or Revenge from Mars. Any thoughts on what one of those should cost?

I see them for $5000 but $200 sounds much better.

Great choices - i have both of these pinball 2000 models

in good condition they can cost £1,200 to £2,000 GBP upwards over here, and I saw some recently for sale at £2,500 ( not sure if they sold though)

I expect like most things they will be much cheaper in the USA

A quick search of the Mr. Pinball Classifieds turns up SWE1 and RFM games in the $2500-3500 range though this one sounds sort of interesting:

    "Star Wars Episode I, 1999 Williams: $4000
25th of 25 hand built engineering prototypes before the real production run. Home use only, very little play, gorgeous condition. Comes with manuals, spare playfield plastics set, etc. More spare parts available separately. Would prefer pickup because I'd hate to risk this immaculate game with a shipper, but can wrap it and work with a shipper if you need me to.

$400 is a little steep even fully working.

Still has to be cleaned and polished to make it look really good.

Most I'd be willing to pay is $200-250. I have been hunting for one for a while but I don't mind waiting because I'm not spending funny money.

    100 machines and counting...

I thought long and hard about picking it up. In the end I passed, they don't come around often but they do come around eventually.

I would love to get a Rocky and Bullwinkle pinball, but there isn't any space for it. Was there a rocky and bullwinkle pachinko?

Yes you're right. It is back up for sale, but for the same price. No wonder why its back up, who would ever pay $450 for a UFO. I mean yes they are getting harder to find, but i just found someone with a UFO pachinko for sale just the other day in working condition for just $65 plus $90 shipping. I'd take that over $450 any day. The only machine I have ever seen get that high are Super Bang's, Roulette's, and other special elec.'s. I guess this UFO is going to be on ebay for a while until the buyer will lower the price because right now, I'm not budging nor will many other Pachitalk members.
P.s. About the UFO pachinko im purchasing, i will post it on the forum as soon as i receive it.

Agreed. I would never pay that much for any vintage even if I really really really liked it.

Tell me about it. Some guy on YJA has a pair of binoculars for approx $2940. He's been lowering the price by $20 every week. How generous. I offered him $2400 for it (a bit more than the going rate) and he said he wasn't going to discount. Ok Dude, have fun waiting.
