It's missing the shooting motor for sure.

I've not had much luck repairing modern machines.

It's like repairing a TV with no repair manual and no available spare parts...

Listed as (CR) パイナップルボンバー possibly from October 2000, But I would have thought earlier by the look of it.

So you might need a dongle for it, But you have a bigger problem than that as the shooter motor is missing. If you can find another frame, or at least a shooter assembly would be a good start.

The code on the machine shows that it was made in March 1998.

CR Pineapple Bomber (CRパイナップルボンバー) is a renewal version of the 1996 machine CR Fruit Passion (CRフルーツパッション). It's the same machine with different artwork.

I saw one site that said you just need 3 parts to fix a Pineapple Bomber.
One part Jack Daniel (ジャックダニエル), one part Southern Comfort (サザン・カンフォート), and one part pineapple juice (パイナップル・ジュース).
