    Default Haldo!

    Greetings all,

I grew up with a friend of the family who owned a pachinko machine and I remember absolutely loving it.

Last year, I acquired my first machine, a vintage Kyoraku. It doesn't work, has needed cleaning and I unfortunately haven't had the time to work on it. Just the other day, a friend gave me an 80's modern-vintage (I hope I'm using the terminology correctly) Heiwa. It works for the most part, except something is blocking the ball arm or something.

My goal is to eventually have an arcade room with with video games and such, but I always have wanted several pachinko machines to be in the mix as well.

In the process of looking up how to manuals, I came across this forum group and I was really impressed by the knowledge that a lot of members had on various models and such.

Thanks for the group, and hope you all have a great night.

    ~Stephen

Your Heiwa is a very collectible item in Japan.
Dispite my spelling mistake. Mahjong story from 1991 (I think) it's one I would love to have.
Heiwa Maghong story (or as google translates it Sparrow Story)

Oh cool! Thanks for the input and the lead! Funny thing is I got it for free. My friend had received it from a guy who sold pinball machines and both he and my friend realized they had no use for it, and my friend thought of me.

    to Pachitalk!

I can't help but notice that your Kyoraku is missing the lower tray. Unless you happen to have the part that sheared off (which is almost all of it). Needless to say we will be happy to help in anyway to get your machines working again.

If you have any question just ask.

Thanks for the very warm welcome!

And unfortunately the Kyoraku took a tumble at one point, taking out the lower tray and smashing it into quite a few pieces. I wasnt sure if they made replacements for them or not (Im sure they do lol) but I also have access to a 3D printer.

Greetings Stephen , Welcome to pachitalk!!!
    Congratulations on the Nice finds,
I see your vintage kyoraku says electric on it, that may just be a catchphrase and not indicate that it's an early electrical vintage but I'm curious to see the back now
    (Although Max probably knows)
can you post pictures of the back of both machines

And the terminology for the Heiwa is "early modern, ( I made that same error in my first post as well )

No they don't make replacements. Any broken or missing parts have to be taken off another machine or fabricated. If you have the skills you can 3D print one with no problem. (and if you have a printer big enough)

It is reffered to as electric because this is one of the few vintage pachinko models that actually does require power to operate correctly. As it has a solenoid in the ball loader that shuts the gate when the rear tray is out of balls. Other than that it operates as any normal vintage machine would.

Sorry it took me a bit to respond, I have been out of town until late last night. There are some parts missing on the back that I have removed and set aside as I was trying to figure out how it worked. The ball launcher was filled with a mouse nest and I have been working on it
