E4 error code Pachislo Twist Slot machine

E4 error code appeared while machine hitting jackpot and began making loud siren type noise. Unable to re-set machine by the manual methods. Any advice for me. Thanks.

E4 – Hopper Error (normally caused when hopper is jammed or unplugged.)

Check to make sure you have plenty of tokens in the hopper, the hopper may need a cleaning where the tokens are ejected. Also make sure no tokens are stuck in the hopper.
Sometimes a soft reset will remove the E4 code. Basically turning your door key to the left, especially if you have run out of tokens.

Thanks. Have tried the soft reset to the left with no result as well as the hard reset from the manual. Will look at the hopper a bit closer but it did not empty completely and did not notice anything jammed when I looked at it. Is it possible the hopper is just not functioning and replacement may be the fix? Thanks again.

try turning the wheel in the bottom of the hopper and see if its ejecting tokens ok

cleaning the tokens may help too

Thanks. Will give it a try. Hearing this also may be a RAM problem. Any thoughts on that? Appreciate your input.
