Well I got my act together! 1 day in Iceland then almost 2 weeks in the UK!

Some know but some do not know but my daughter ended up at the University of East Anglia for a semester in Norwich...

I am going over for a visit and while I am at I have always wanted to visit Iceland! Icelandair has great layover deals and for very
little extra I get to see Iceland!

When I check in, I am staying overnight at Heathrow and then driving out to Norwich to see my daughter! I am spending 2 nights in Cartiff with my daughter in tow as I want to see the Dr. Who
Experience , Stonehenge, Avebury, Bath AND the home of the Prisoner, Portmerion Village! Yes I KNOW its a lot of driving! I will be in London from the night of the 14th till the 20th ( I have a Travel/museum pass) and then
I am back to the Park Inn at Heathrow because I will be at Anderson Con on the 20th... I shove off back to the states on the 21st...
I am also going to try to see some PT members I have chatted with for years too while I am there! Suggestions are are ALWAYS welcome! My travel agent pointed out the obvious such as Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London,
and Harrods Dept. store let alone other places!

Money is tight with everybody and this trip is a VERY, VERY big deal to me financially but as I have said to others, you only live once UNLESS your James Bond...
I JUST have to keep my mother calm since the Malaysia incident she is having nightmares already and I have not even left...

Well I am Norwich now heading of to Aveburry, Bath, Dr who etc. Stonehenge has gotten pricey to visit and I can see the stone circle in Aveburry. It looks like Portmerion Village is LONG shot at best... I would have LOVED to see the Village... But we'll see my travel agent should have booked differently when I told her what I wanted to do... After the 13th I head to London was 6 days... I am going to try to do my best to visit DC and DaveRob but we'll see how it goes. I have what is called a London pass for 6 days or all the tube I want and 0ver 60 museums and tourist stuff to do. No lines either because of the card, puts you at the head of the queue as they say over here...

Stonehenge prices are a thing you have to see to believe. You can see it from the road quite clearly, (A303) But there is no where to park and have a quick look over the fence. I actually past it when coming back from a job on Sunday afternoon

Hard Rock casino in Tampa gives out high roller cards to people who gamble a lot of money, at all their restraunts they get to be seated right away

while everyone else has to wait 1/2 hour to 45 mins to get in!!

I was WELL warned about queue jumping by my daughter and and lots of people have the London pass so it's kind of expected!

That was MY bad that was a Geothermal Spring! AND warm enough to swim in! I guess I could have posted pics of the inside of the Blue Lagoon but I figured did you really want to see people bathing in a Geothermal pool? So here you go! I really liked the whale watching and have a lot more photos but I did not want to bore you with a lot of fluke and side shots. I managed to get a shot of the face and full body and posted those... Norwich, Cardiff, Bath City, and Saint Fagan's 100 acre Open Air Museum coming next...

On to Norwich next and after 6 hours of walking it ended up at Biddie's Tearoom for Tea and a Flapjack!
Tee color is off on some of these (the sky) due to the fact I have been playing around with various way to compress the size of the pictures since they are 5 Meg a piece. made them large so you can see more and I used better compression for the others. Off to Bath and Avebury next photo round!
