    Default Rio cards stuck

Hello everyone, my fianc and I just got our first Pachinko machine and sadly a piece is stuck. We have a Rio machine and the cards in the upper left corner are stuck in the down position. Their lights still come on they just don't move like the others. Does anyone know how to get into the machine and also fix them? Any and all help will be appreciated!

Not familiar with the name. As there are many Rio models. Can you post a picture please. There are normal reset buttons on the back. But most machines check and reset the animatronics on power up.

best bet is to open it up and see what is out of place.. for machines that are meant to be trashed they are very tough.. im sure ya can get it fixed and reset..

    and of course

Ok. It's CRぱちんこRio (M5AZ - possible version) I have frame and cel manuals for that one somewhere. I'll have a look after work. But in the mean time you can just double check all the plugs and leads are seated correctly.

As this is a fairly new title. Did you get it from a dealer (no pun intended)or a private sale.

I bought it off of akimono. I did email them and they said to just take it apart and see what's wrong. Only prob is this is our first machine and we don't really know what we are doing. My fianc has fixed phones and game systems before but he was able to find instructions for those.

So far he was able to get the cell off and get to the cards. However that doesn't seem to help. It looks like he would have to take it completely apart to get to the motor and track the cards are on.

Also thank you everyone for the welcomes. I look forward to being a part of this awesome community!

The easiest way is to lay the cel face down on something soft, take lots of pictures when taking apart. I've stripped a couple of Heiwa cels, they look more difficult than they are, All the plugs are either colour coded, or its made not possible to put the wrong ones in.
The manual isn't much help, Just indicates the cards and their names. But no drawings of the motor and gear assembly. I suspect, somthing has come adrift or dislodges in transit.

If you like Rio, I suggest this book. Has some lovely artwork of the charactors

Yes, lots of pictures before and as it's coming apart. Also a good idea to put the screws back in their original locations after you remove a part, easier to keep track of which goes where.

So after a few hours and a lot of pictures my fianc was able to get to the cards track and place them back in place. Everything is working perfectly now
