I have an old igt hot peppers machine. I think the power supply is toast. Nothing lights up, but I can run the coin hopper. Any idea what the pin outs are on that for the part that services the main part of the machine? There are no markings on this power supply. It is black, has 3 fuses, 2 slide switches, one key switch, a black on off switch (I think that is its function) and two reset switches. There are three connectors on the back side, lower is 24 volt in the next is hopper power out and the last is the main power out to all boards. I have no idea what to expect on the pin outs on that. Any information on where I can get a new one or can get this serviced/checked would be helpful. I am new to this forum and was told this would be the best place to ask this question so hopefully I am in the right spot. Thanks the_big_blue_1.

I found it on eBay. I had to look under the generic slot machine terms. Thanks for the information.

Thanks for all the help. The machine is basically up and running. I could use some help on the actual use of the machine. For some reason I put tokens in and it puts 50 credits up before any will return from the machine. I don't seem to be able to use those credits. I also hit the jackpot. It played music and flashed lights all over the place and ran out of coins in the hopper and had to basically shut the machine down to clear the error. I had to fix the button wires that I thought would be the button to use the credits but it seems to still not to be working. All the lights now work and it is a fun little machine. I basically have no idea though what all the machine is capable of though.

You may already have this link, but just in case here's a link to our Pachislo Operations Manual in PDF format

    pachitalk/Manuals/Pachislots_Operation_Manual.pdf

You may find it useful as it explains how to play, some trouble shooting tips, and about those 50 credits too

of course the members here are really helpful and so just post if anything you're not sure of or need help with

Going to dig up an old thread...but here it goes. I just got a Nitro that I need some help on. I played around with a few Yamasa's but never an IGT. This is what it does...
Plug it in and the main Nitro lights. Can't seem to get any life, when I remove the middle 8 pin harness from the power supply (at the power supply) to the top PC board (speakers are connected here) the coin door closes, it will take tokens and credit them, the credit display now lights and I will hit the spinner knob and the wheels will a move a little and stop, all credits get reset to zero Then the insert coin light flashes quickly. I hit all the connections, tried to remove some and tried it. Time to reach out and get some help.

Thanks for reading my novel, lol. 20220906_192307.jpg20220906_192315.jpg

sounds like a power issue or a short circuit causing a reset.
