Default Machine goes on and off.

Just got a machine called Rookie cop. Was playing fine for a while then it was siting idle with it on. Then it started to shut off and back on buy itself. Now it goes on off on off on off continuously. and sometimes will make a play sound and shoot out some tokens. All you here is the clicking of the coin mech. as the machine turns on and off. Anyone see anything like this in a machine.

No pic just picked it up from him tonight. It is made by Taigo I think but I do not see it on pachincomuseum. Dave from seven mile slots was probably off to work by the time I looked at the machine again. Just hoping for something to explain this before I call him. I did not have a lot of time to look at it tonight. I will have to check all the plugs and connections. But it almost sounds like a power supply problem. This would suck if something was really wrong with it because it looks like a nice machine and from what I played of it seems fun.

it does sound like a power supply problem, maybe its overheating.

No other help on this before I call Dave at Mile slots on Monday? I did check all the connections even took then off and put them all back on. They are all tight. took out the power supply. Do not see anything wrong with it by looking at it. know oveus burn marks on the board or anything. The only thing I do see is the main board sits to the left of the reels and one screw holds it in place and is missing so it can move around.

What is behind this board? Metal or wood? if it is wood never mind, but if it is metal, I would try to put something between it and the wall, It could be grounding out periodically.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

I wouldn't piddle with it too much, Laz.

bad transformer: heats up thermal overload kicks in then cools down and resets.

I sold this machine to Laz. This is a 100 volt model so there is no transformer. I can either swap power supplys or give you a new machine. Call me Monday Laz... Dave
