Never used Yahoo Auction but I'll be in Japan next month so was thinking about ordering small stuff there I can bring back with me. Any tips on using the site?

I have never done anything direct, always use the deputy services. Although I do have an account.

I use the Sheriff service , so I am not certain about pickups. Isn't the English language wonderful?

Seriously, Fromjapan states that they can remail to destinations in Japan, so if they don't do pickups (which seems unreasonable) then maybe you can have goods forwarded to your hotel?

You can ask them about pickup. Unless you can write in Japanese, I would stick with English. Hint: Be very polite in your text. It helps.
