    Question Marilyn Monroe Slot

Just purchased this slot at a garage sale over the weekend. It's a real nice slot, but one problem, it will only play max bet the 1 bet and 2 bet light up but the spin knob will not work... only on the max bet, can't understand why the 1 and 2 bet will light up but it won't spin the reels. Any help?

most machines are max bet, if it needs 3 tokens to play it can't be changed

Seems they used the same chassis for 1-2-3 bet machines as well for max bet machines. Buttons will light individual bets...but will only spin when 3 bets are made. This is normal, it functions correctly. Can't be changed as far as we know.

If I'm not mistaken if this is actually a real Marilyn Monroe pachislo it was a very limited run, similar to Elvis and Spin Luck.

its possible it may just have a custom Marilyn Monroe bellyglass??

some pictures would clear this up

I guess I don't have the real thing, but any info would be great. I just hope that $50 bucks wasn't way to much...IMG_0854.jpgIMG_0857.jpgIMG_0855.jpg

Looks like your machine started life as 'Babel' an Eleco machine from around 2002

I believe Babel was indeed a Max Bet only machine

I don't think $50 was bad for any pachislo

That's it. And I thought it was different because the reels have exactly that in it BABEL. Just the Belly Glass and the spin reel on top where changed. Hey thanks for your input it greatly appreciated to us newbies.

Babel was a very popular model around here 8 or 9 years ago,

it has a great light show with the 2 led panels at the top.

the sounds and music are excellent also.

you got a good deal for 50 bucks

that empty key slot is a security lock that only was used for palour use. you don't need a key

the one with the key is for setting your odds.

I just removed the speakers and stuffed about a dozen cotton balls in each one, then replaced the speakers

many members don't like my idea, but, it works and i've never had a speaker problem
