    Default Not shooting balls

Hello everyone. I picked up this pachinko a handful of years back. Everything was working great and then I moved from Florida to Colorado. Since the move, it no longer shoots balls. Also majority of the playing field no longer lights up. It is tough to tell from my pictures, but the LCD screen turns on and the counter turns on. That's it. If I manually drop a ball in the hole beneath the LCD screen, it will activate the bonus spin, so I know some of the machine is working properly.

I've read on here and I see a lot of people mentioning a dongle is needed. I looked for one on mine and I don't see one and I also don't see a port for one.

finally, I don't even know what model it is. All I know is Heiwa. Any ideas what this machine is and ideas on how I can fix it. It was a blast to play and I want to play it again.image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

I would think it has something to do with sumo wrestling

a wire may have come loose in the move, check all your connections.

    Hello

It's not showing in our RC centre, but I found a link on Arcade History

tsunatori monogatari [ball-op] pachinko, heiwa (1993)

Looks like it's called 'Tsunatori Monogatari' and made by Heiwa around 1993

Not sure where the dongle would be located on that model, but it's usual for them to be around half way down on the right hand side I think?

Are you not getting any noise from the shooter at all when you are turning the shooter knob?

Also, presume you are making a good contact with the grounding ring when you are holding the shooter?

I suspect maybe pre dongles but the B1F board is known to be a weak part of these Heiwas

It doesn't look to be a CR machine so no dongle.. But as Clam said, these Heiwas with the B1F module that seems to control the ball firing are know to go bad, and so far no one has found the exact cause..that I know of..

But make sure to check all your connectors, just in case!!

I did a little googling, but didn't come up with much of anything. Is this a B1F board?
    IMAG0151.jpg

If it is, why do I get the feeling that the hybrid is the notorious failing part?

So, does anyone have a busted spare that I could explore and possibly fix?
No guarantees on the fix, but I will paypal you the shipping cost.

It's the board with the blue casing right next to the shooter at the bottom. Can be seen in the third picture

Thanks for the replies everyone. If I get a chance this evening, I'm going to take that B1F board out and look to see if anything looks popped. I believe I verified all of my connections but I'll go over them again. If the board is fried, can you buy new (refurbished) ones? Are they generic across other pachinkos from this time period?

Heiwa only and on that frame. I don't think anyone has found a quick fix to repair one yet, But that mainly because people who have the faulty ones, don't know how to diagnose and fix them. If you can't do it yourself, You might try a good old fashioned tv/radio repair man. Or a college geek with some spare time

No idea. I don't get where your coming from but in that picture, the fuse looks a little black

Now can I find a big enough rock to crawl under. There I might be able to read all the replies before sticking my foot in it

Sorry DC, I didn't mean to come off that way.
I especially wasn't singling my attention toward you.

I was in a way, offering to take a look at a B1F and willing to pay for shipping to me, if someone (perhaps Addicted) had one they no longer wanted. If I got the board working, and the original owner wanted it back, I would send it back, but would ask for compensation for any parts purchased to make the repair and the return shipping.

Its an odd business model, and so fitting an odd person like myself.

I might take you up on that offer Heima, ive got two Heiwa's of this style with the B1F problem, including the exact same sumo wrestler theme that Addicted has (I bought one to repair the other, but they both have the same issue) Power is getting to the cell, but not the frame
A bit busy at the moment, but I'll PM you within a few days for details
it would be nice to finally solve this issue

Maybe Colorado is the problem. Try moving back to Florida. Sorry, it's the best I've got...
I'm not addicted to Pachinkos. I can quit at any time. Did I tell you about the three machines that I have on the way?

Naw...The high altitude of Colorado works wonders on pachinko machines, all of mine love it. I let them out to run in the sunny back yard every few days...they really seem to enjoy it!
Hey Addicted! If your not doing anything in mid-september let me know. I got lots of pachinko to play around then.

    What's going on in mid-September?

As for my pachinko, it appears to be dead. I pulled the B1F board and nothing looks blown on it. As of right now, it is still sitting in my basement collecting dust.
