I don't know if I can do the shipping part just yet, as FromJapan hasn't received the pachinko from the seller. However, if that information is available at this time, a little hint as to what I do to get that information, would be helpful. And I would let you all know.

Using the shipping calculator and guessing at the weight and dimensions:
    Size :
    Weight :40
    ------------
    Length :100
    Width :50
    Height :25

    Oversea shipping :※Available shipping methods
    FedEx 15,330 Yen
    Insurance options :Not insured
    Bank transfer fee :168 Yen
Domestic delivery fee :2,800 Yen ( Estimated price )
    System usage fee 5% ( * ) : 914 Yen
    Sub-total of charge 2 :19,212 Yen / 189.6 ( USD )

That "Not insured" makes me think that I cannot get the shipment insured. Maybe this is the case. Dunno.

When I do know the shipping costs. I will share them.

When I got my Honey through Kiai I had it sent via normal mail, because its under the 30mg weight limit. But rememebr your standard pachi is 52 cm wide before any packaging materials.

Thanks DC, using a lighter weight 30kg, but bigger dimensions, 100x60x30, lowers shipping to 13,823 Yen.

Thats weird, I posted the winning price a couple of days ago, and it isn't here anymore?

    Anyway, it was 8251 Yen.

Now I am in the shipping instruction phase, the cutie honey pachinko and macross fever cell are ready to be shipped to me. I have a question, and I sent an email off to FromJapan for an answer, but I will ask it here too.

There is no way to pack the cell and the complete pachinko together, right? I mean everybody knows that this would be a dumb idea, right? Since I don't know the extent of the Literality of FromJapan's English, I am concerned that if I process the shipping instructions for the cell and pachinko at the same time (both are checked), that FromJapan will get the goofy idea that I want them both in the same box. Riiiiiggggghhhht.

But I know that if you group boxes into a fedex shipment, you get a discount. So I am afraid that if I process the shipping instructions separately, FromJapan will ship the goods totally separately, and the shipping cost will be higher.

Now maybe I am not giving FromJapan enough credit, but after working for a couple of Japanese companies, I have my reservations.

DC, Mandoman, anybody, what was your experience?
    Thanks

Just unclick the one you don't want to send. Leave it 24hrs then do another shipping request : I guess if that is possible But I don't think you will get a discount on the shipping. By having 2 boxes sent. I assume they get a bulk discount already with everyones orders.

I agree with DC. I don't believe there will be any discount. I shipped my Ayu cell via EMS and that cost me 20,600 yen (ouch). We figured I would have saved 8,000 yen using FedEx. So maybe 12,500 yen to ship a cell FedEx.

I actually wanted to see the live action movie so I ordered it. I'll let you know if the lunchbox is functional. There seems to be two versions of the lunchbox. No choice on which one you get.
