Magic Party not shooting balls

My magic Party by Sankyo, will not fire balls. You turn the knob, and nothing. I bought it on eBay, and it was suppose to be fine and all working, but it's not. Everything else seems to work. It has an error code of 8, but I'm assuming that's because it is not set to accept credit anymore. Also, all the little red red lights are lit by the on switch panel. If there is a trick to get this working, please let me know.

Error 8 means that your dongle is loose, or missing. The dongle is needed before you can play the pachinko.

The dongle connects to the 25 pin connector on the back of the machine, usually in the lower right quadrant.
It may have come loose during transit. Just push it back on tight.

if its not there, it may be in the bottom of the shipping box
