you have to hold the whole shooter knob when playing to make the contact.

There should be some fuses too, you can check those and try reconnecting all the wires on the back.

You would have done better buying from Slotusa or TA they would take the machine back if it didn't work right.

I think i know how to hold the shooter (i've another pachinko, star blazers, and it works fine)
i don't understand what it could be... i've tried to unplug all the connector (well, it is 1) that lead to the back motor...
the single shot has the same movement as the one in star blazers, so this could not be the real problem
anyone think that the TOTAL absence of sound can be related to some kinda of... well...how to say.... machine in stand by???
and if somenone has this machine, could please tell me what the lcd shows up while waiting for play? mine shows fishes swimming and after a while the siren appears with the game logo... nothing else
one more thing... there is a board on the lower back that has a little switch button with a one_number minidisplay... it blinks the number 1... is that an error message?
thank u very much guys, i'm so depressed... it looks so beautiful.. i wish i could play it

No disrespect was ment toward you on how to hold the shooter, not knowing what you know, one tends to start with the basics.
    Error Display

    - No abnormality
1 Main board signal not yet connected
    2 Pay-out unit abnormality
    3 Pay-out count switch abnormality
4 Pay-out motor space cut off or balls jammed
    5 Main board signal abnormality
    6 Full tank
7 Balls cut off (out of balls)
8 Prepaid card unit not yet connected
    9 Prepaid card unit abnormality

    Try a hard reset.
Not knowing if you know how, "Hold in reset button while you turn on the machine and hold in a couple of seconds", SORRY if you knew this.

The Error Display code was listed in th Industry Links under Pachinko Links

Maybe the transformer voltage is too low. The Machine I got rid of recently was under powered and had sound problems. Mike : )

i've finally spotted the problem (thanks to a anejo68 who helped me and also sold me a medieval madness pinball, thanks mate) of the motor.. it is the connector that while it is plug correct it needs to be "shaked" a bit, maybe a bad contact

    but

arby, now that u told me the error table i'm thinking what could be the relationship between error number 1 and the motor.... it still blinks number 1 and i still don't hear any sound
the reset button is the red one or the one near to the error led display?

Yes, Hold in and restart, see what that does for you.
