Default Beautiful Pachinko Machine Found in Garbage..Idenitification please?

I found this beautiful machine on the curb...I only knew what it was because I grew up with a Pinball/Amusement Machine loving father. I have cleaned it up and plan on trying to get it to work. Can someone please help me identify what year, or range of years, it may be from? And I know it doesn't need a battery to operate, but what kind of battery will I need? Thank you!IMG_1420.jpgIMG_1422.jpgIMG_1423.jpg

    Mid 70's Nishijin Rev B. ( close to 1973 - 1975 range)

they wired it for a 10V DC.

if the bulbs are bad you can go into your local Radioshack buy replacments 12V will work and run a patch for a 9v battery. if you choose you can also purchase a 9v dc wall wart (the black transformers) you will not need anything near an amp for current draw .4 Miliamps will do the trick.

do not make the mistake of just wiring in a regular wall plug (like from a lamp) I've seen it way too many times and it becomes a full re-wire job to fix it.

    all and all

WELCOME to Pachitalk and congrats on your new machine.

also it looks like besides a cleaning that you will require a Tulip replacement..

should be a "right side exit" (well don't quote me actually lolz we all seem to make up our own part names from time to time. but here's a link for the replacement part

Wow! Thanks so much for the prompt reply. Lots of great information! I am a little freaked out about the whole battery thing. Never put anything like this back together before, but I want to put it in the basement with my other vintage Pinball machines. Well, Thanks again!

You can unscrew the two white plastic terminals at the top corner of your machine and press a 9V battery to the terminals.

It's not a permanent set up but it's a start.

There are a lot of things that can cause the lights to not work... more or less in this order...
    Bad fuse
    Bad bulbs
    Bad switches
    Bad wiring

Just post again if you need help.

To be exact you have a 1973 Nishijin Model B (super win). I just call the theme super win because it has 14 pockets on the playfield! It is unusual to have that many pockets, I have the same machine myself.

    Oh and to Pachitalk

At least the track cover is there AND the ashtray is intact! (Something Mopar would appreciate)
