    Default Nishijin model A

Hello to all the members of the forum.
I am a collector of pinball machine and I have just discovered during my last purchase a new machine which I didn't know.

    After fast research, it's a pachinko (Nishijin A 1972).
I find this game attractive and funny. Well, I decide to try to recondition it.

After a good cleaning, i try to understand all the mechanisms and unfortunately parts are missing.
I find the documentation and I notice that the middle tank is not here.

All this to say that: My English is very bad (sorry) and i don't know how to find this part?

Someone has he this kind of part

    Thanks for yours answers

    Chris

Can you please post a picture of the back of your machine?

Those parts are no longer made; you would need a donor (parts) machine and I don't know how many are in your area of the world.

Even if you can't locate the part you are missing, the Model A is a good candidate for a full Cyclic conversion.
Then you wouldn't need that part (or many pachinko balls).

Welcome to PachiTalk!! Thanks for joining our site.

Yes, please post a few pictures of your machine and the area that is missing the part. We might be able to help you fix it, or create a modification that will allow the machine to work.

it looks like a few things are missing not only the secondary jackpot tray.

it looks like the cover for the winning ball track is missing. (below the jackpot rocker) and some other linkage and mechanics as well.. the photo for the back is to small for me to do a comparison.

this animation of the back mechanics may be helpful in determining on your side what else is missing.. (when in doubt write down what you do have for comparison purposes) Nishijin Technical Animation

also photos of other Model A's backsides may also be helpful in getting a complete list of what you need.

Those top pockets on each side of the center feature look cool! Can you post a closer pic of one. Also a closer pic of the area of the lower tray area to help see what you need. Also...to Pachitalk!

I was about to say it looks like there may be holes for lighting on those pockets... but who knows at this point everything electrical related has been stripped from this machine.. but please pose more pictures that are area specific.. I may be able to compare them with my Model A.Screen Shot 2014-02-07 at 2.08.09 PM.jpg

    to Pachitalk

What you have there is a 1971 Nishijin Model A, Osaka (Cupie). 1971 Cupie - VP0177 - a set on Flickr

Yes you are missing the lower tray and 2 covers. The covers aren't worth finding as they don't do much of anything.

    I don't have a spare tray though.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

I don't know much about the history of this machine.
I found it in an old barn (dry) next to a pinball against him was very damaged.
So I got lucky on the state of Pachinko but unfortunately incomplete.

I'm sure that with your help, I'll get to play with this game.

    See you soon
