Need help with Ghostbusters pachinko machine!!!

I just found and purchased a Ghostbusters pachinko machine. I've been playing it, and getting the balls into the center trap, even had the lower trap door open with balls going into it. My question is...should I be getting some kind of payout with balls? I have played through many rounds, reaches, ect... but I haven't won one single ball. Is it just that hard to win balls or is there something wrong with my machine? Everything plays great, it just doesn't pay out.The hopper is full of balls, but the balls don't seem to go down into the track. They just sit in the hopper. Anyway, I have no manual, and can't seem to find any information about it online. Can someone here please fill me in on how this all works? I've had a old pachinko machine, but not a modern one like I have now. I'm not sure if there's a rest button that I need to push or what? Any information will be greatly appreciated. there should be a fork near the left side of the hopper that will stop the balls if its not lifted up.

check that its up and out of the way

its normally used to stop balls when clearing the tracks.

You should get a payout of 3 or 4 balls for each start pocket hit. As LD says. Make sure the balls are making it all the way from the rear ball tank to the payout motor. Unless the machine has been converted to cyclic and you just shoot the same 20-50 balls over and over.

Thanks for all the tips guys. I was able to lift the piece and get all the balls loaded to the motor. Every thing seems to be in place like it should be but there is still no payout. I have played since then for about 20 minutes, and still there is no payout. It seems like whatever is supposed to trigger a payout isn't releasing any balls. Is there any way to check and see if the trigger is working properly?

I tried triggering the payout trap by opening the glass as you suggested Luckydog, but it still doesn't do anything. It's a awesome machine and every thing looks great, it just doesn't pay out anything. I just played for 30 mins straight, went through bonuses, reaches, 15 rounds with bottom trap door opening, but not one single ball returned. Any other suggestions? Not sure what else to try.

Well, if the connection to the payout motor is disconnected, you would not get any balls out. Most payout mechanisms can be easily removed from the machine. When you do that, a holding mechanism prevents balls from spilling out. Perhaps this holding mechanism has not retracted correctly? Is the payout mechanism installed correctly and snugly? A photo of the payout mechanism would help immensely, as not many people here have Ghostbuster pachinkos.

Any error codes or LEDs on the back.

If you found the pay motor, trace all the wiring from it back to the main boards and make sure all the plugs are in tight. I have a manual for a fuji CRゲゲゲの鬼太郎 FPKZ some where thats in the same frame.

Other reasons that it might not payout is that it either thinks the rear is empty, So locate and check the low ball indicator and wiring, Or it thinks the front trays are full, Again locate the switch that does this and check the condition and wiring.

Thanks to all of you for your help. I opened up the back of the machine, pushed on some wires, closed it up and started playing. To my surprise, it started working and paying out as it should. I'm sure I payed more than I should have for this machine, but I only had enough room for one, so I wanted it to be sweet. It truly is a neat machine. Now if I can figure out what the red and yellow buttons on the front are for, lol. Not sure if their used. I figured they're not, but if anyone knows differently, just let me know. Thanks!

Now that will call for a daverob cr dongle. It reactivates those buttons to enable the machine to dispense 25 balls at a time to the front tray at the push of a button. A must if you plan to seal the machine in a cabinet.
