thanks, it's getting there. i've reinstalled the motor board and a couple of other items inside the cab. someone pointed out that i didn't paint the inside top edge of the cab. i completely forgot that a couple inches of the inside of the cab are visible when the playfield is in. so i painted and webbed that yesterday. should have the whole thing back together by end of the weekend.

I'm currently leveling the inserts since their centers have sunk a couple mm over 40 years. Other than that, she's done. I spent a couple 4 hour sessions getting it back together. At least 2 of those hours were used adjusting the roto target. I replaced the 3 springs but its a bit of trial and error adjusting the stroke of the solenoid and the position of the pawls to get it just right.
Anyway, a rundown of things done:
Stripped, filled, reglued, primed and painted cab.
Sanded and refinished wood shooter lane sides and left side PF rail.
All stepper units disassembled, cleaned and lubed.
Solenoid coil sleeves replaced and plungers cleaned.
Soldered all lamp sockets for added reliability to eliminate effects of corrosion and dried out insulators.
6 new spring kits for the 6 steppers (4 score reels, roto target, and ball count unit)
White field behind back box drop cards was refinished with enamel
    New parts:
    Playield
    Bullseye standup targets
Decals for both roto target and drop cards
    LEDs for inserts
New bulbs for all other sockets
Coin door, strike plate, and metal coin strip
    Nickel jeweled posts
    Rubber kit
    All new pop bumper assemblies
New flippers and entire assemblies (flipper and shaft, thru PF bushing, EOS switch, linkage, orange dot coil, flipper switch
    Red flipper buttons
White ball guides at top of PF
Red and yellow lamp shrouds under PF arch (my game was missing them)
And of course a new pinball.
Next up is potentially Capt Card.

Thanks. Yeah I'm pretty pleased with how well it came out. If I may say so myself, the cab is as good as any I've seen that were professionally done. I'm glad I stuck it out with the webbing method I found. I was also surprised that when I powered it up the only adjustments necessary were to the roto unit. Once the inserts are dry I'll be racking up some games on it.

No vid anytime soon. I managed to unknowingly smash the lens of the camera I used to document this resto. There's plenty of vids on YouTube of these EMs but none that Ive seen that explain the rules and methodically go thru the features of individual games. I'll get to that one of these days.
