Lucky Cherry fun! bonuses???

Hello all, I have just purchased my first pachislo machine...Lucky Cherry! I have not been too successful with the winning yet, but my buddy came over and won the jackpot twice! I am trying to understand how the winning works. I have done much reading on this site and am very impressed with everyone's enthusiasm. I have found both the posted general manual and the specific playing guide to Lucky Cherry. Unfortunately, I find the latter a little hard to follow and it has multiple references to an online source that appears to not be up and running any more (www.bigbearpachisloshop.com). Is there a quick reference guide for the different types of bonuses out there?

to pachitalk! I have the same machine! I tyrust you have this one! 001.jpg I also looked into bigbearpachisloshop a couple of years ago, it was gone back then too. Lucky Cherry uses sound effects to let you what it is up to. For example, a twinkling bell sound indicates you will get a replay. You will learn what to expect as you play it more. The bonuses however will be indicated by the LED display on the upper right of the machine. It will display 333 or 777 to indicate the Lucky Bonus, or the Big Bonus, as explained on the paycard...in Japanese! Seriously though...I haven't played it much lately, but I don;t think there is a trick or skill to get to a bonus round. It is all programed into the odds and when your buddy hit the jackpot twice, (probably the Lucky Bonus first follower by the Big Bonus) it was just the machines time to payout.
Did the machine payout all 50 credits automatically after the bonus round, and require a reset? Or were you able to continue playing without resetting? Those settings are changed by these 2 switches on the inside of the door. 011.jpg At the far right above the black connector. I see I have 1 on and 1 off. I havent won a jackpot (because I haven't played) in awhile, so I can only guess...since I hate to reset after a bonus, it must be set for NO RESET, and PAYOUT CREDITS. There is a small switch to the left of the reels, it is the volume switch. On its lowest setting, the game is not that loud. Most machine need volume controls added, because they are WAY too loud even on their lowest setting, but Lucky Cherry is not that bad.
Do you have both keys? The keyhole on the power supply is for doing a full reset, and changing the odds. If you switch the odds to #6, you will hit the bonuses more frequently. My machine has the instructions on the hopper.008.jpg If you don't have a key, then you will have to add a switch.007.jpg It is not hard, but you will have to remove the power supply and open it up. It a simple SPST (single pole single throw) switch. 002.jpg001.jpg It is just a 2 wire switch, no problem mixing them up...it don't matter which way they are connected. These last 2 pics are from a Million God machine...but the process is the same.

All this information is awesome! Yes, mine has a key. It is pretty sweet (especially for the $50 I paid for it!) I still have not hit the bonus though (despite me jacking the odds to 6 and lowering them to 1 for another friend and my father-in-law, who both hit quickly.) AAAAAHHHH!!!
Anyway, one thing I would love to know is the following:
My Lucky Cherry is 3 tokens/credits a pull (1st token/credit for line 1, 2nd token/credit for lines 2 & 3, and 3rd token/credit for lines 4 & 5). I know this because you can press the "max bet" or you can add them individually by pressing another button on the left (causing the credits to count down and the betting lines to individually light up). Desipite this implied option of playing 1 or 2 credits, the game is unplayable until the 3rd credit is added. I have accounted for all the switches (volume, odds, mandatory reset & payout) so I assume that there is no easy manual solution. Are there hidden switches under panels or circuit boards, or is this a casino programming thing?

Yep!, Some machines are "MAX BET" Only. The one and two bet buttons still operate, but takes 3 to get a spin.

From what I understand, manufacturers kept the same machine cabinets for different games, some 1-2-3 bet and some max bet only. Just cheaper to use the same cabinet, as to make a new one.

That is a good price! I got my Lucky Cherry AND a Million God for $50! I instantly sold Million God to a neighbor for $150. To answer your question, Lucky Cherrt is a MAX BET only machine. Yes you can bet 1 at a time...No you can not spin until you bet 3. There is no switches to override this.
