What a crazy week. We drove up from Arizona 2 days ago, stayed in South Utah, then drove the last few hours this morning. We closed on our new house up here today, and are trying to get settled in. A couple days ago we got a contract on the old house, so hopefully that goes smooth. First truck unloaded, next one is here on Monday. I'm beat. Will post some pics of the man cave later.

Naugahyde, faux paneling, wrought iron, train motif foil wallpaper, root beer colored shag carpeting!!! You have the most awesome 70's gameroom!!! I would half-expect to see a jive-talkin 'Huggy Bear' walk into the room right out of Starsky and Hutch! Awesome Mancave!!!

You missed the console stereo with 8-track player! And it still works! This place is such a throw back I'm not sure I want to update it anymore.

I have to agree. My only additions other than pachis would be 70's era beer signs, furnishings, etc. That room is classic!

Just thought it may be about time to post an update on the house we are building.

Well it has now come a long way from being a hole in the ground. We are now having to make decisions so fast we can't keep up! Right now they are doing insulation and will start drywall next week. Also the garage doors are now in after we had a small incident with some copper thieves who took our wiring. (you stoop to a whole new level to do that.) But everything has been replaced and taken care of.

Anyways here are some pictures. (sorry thought I had a few more. I'll get some soon.)

Speaking of China, for the 2008 Olympic Games, Beijing decided to clean up its act, and installed several thousand stainless steel trash receptacles around the city. Within hours of them being installed, they were stolen.
That flatware you gave at the last wedding? Was probably once a Beijing garbage can.
