Default Early Modern Haewa "Cosmo Tiger" HELP!!!

    Hey folks,

I have a literal Tiger by the tail as it were, I'm in the middle of restoring a Heawa (SP?) Cosmo Tiger and just gotten the electronics working including the solenoid. but the rubber part on the arm from the swing arm is completely gone!

any Ideas where to get a replacement? I've checked all the usual suspects (pachinkoplanet, Ebay, Etc...)

Thanks for any leads you can provide..

    Phulkrum.

Can you please post a picture?

I'm not familiar with that model but it seems like you could fabricate a part that would work?

Perhaps a close up photo of the missing part would help.

Thanks for the pictures. Maybe Candy know the answer to this one?

I wonder if that missing piece would be a rubber piece or a spring like on a vintage?

Is there a pin or nub sticking out on the shooting arm that you could fasten a spring to?

If not, then I'd look for something like a flexible casting resin. Take the arm off and fashion a mold (easier said than done) and cast a new rubber tip directly onto the metal arm. The new tip needs something to "grab" onto. I've never done it. Just my two cents.

Or if you're lucky find a similar parts machine.

Good Luck, it looks like a cool machine.

I've spent the other time getting the electronics working and i think i have a couple of LEDs to replace still..

it's not a spring type I can tell from the goo from some man made material on it I was going to try a spring.. Just have to figure out a way to tie it down...

    Hey Folks,
Just an update here about this unit. I have just (after 3 days) gotten the electronics and Jackpot online for this machine. unfortunately I'm returning it to my friend who asked me to repair this thing for him 6 months ago. but I'd thought I'd post a short video clip of the center attraction and machine working. I had tons of work to get it this far some of it was completed because of suggestions from a couple of you.. so here you go!
