Default Bought my first pachinko, what is it?

Greetings form the Great North Wet! I've been browsing the forums for a good couple of weeks and decided to introduce myself and ask for a little help.
At the begining of April our local race track 'Portland International Raceway' has the biggest car swap meet on this coast. Well not only did I buy a new (used) set of tires for the pick-em up truck but there was also a guy with a pachinko machine for $50.00 as-is. Well I made sure I went back a couple times to let him know I was interested (my booth same row) and in the final hours talked him down to $40.00. So it has no balls no transformer but it's the first I've seen with a TV screen in it.
Looked in Radio Shack and ebay for correct transformer, no luck. So what the heck I splurged and bought 'Egyptian' off ebay from SlotUSA. Great condition volume apperers to only come in three levels Stun-Torture-Kill. Unfortunatly with 500 balls when it comes to fever mode you have to cycle more than watch the cool cartoons. So anyway the machine works and look awesome.
So starting on my pitiful swap meet machine I cut the transformer on the 'Egyptian' and wire it to the,,, Well actually I dont know what this machine is. The screen is 2" smaller it has on the front "Heiwa" an anime girl top right and mahjong symbols. It's mostly pink and red. So I plug it in and..... It light's right up! I put balls in the front and it fires perfect! I put balls in the top and they pour right out the bottom,, read a little bit on Pachitalk flip the yellow painted lever,,, balls stay in! YAY!! Fire more balls,, mahjong symbols rotate on screen,,, wait no pay out? Yup pay out doesnt seem to work. OK worry about that later, playing more even get fever mode still no pay out oh well,,,, AAUUGGGHHH!!! Machine stops dynamite flashes on screen and machine makes irratating noise HULK SMASH!!! Alright calming down now....Wheew....
    So I need more balls
    best deal= ebay
    Transformer
Best deal= SlotUSA only $10.00 but $15.00 more for shipping.

Any suggestions on tripping the payout and does anyone have an idea what my machine might be? Seems to be the real deal has legal stickers in the lower right corner.
Thanks for any help and take care all!

    Welcome to the forums, target423!

A picture would sure help to figure out what your machine is. As far as it not paying a bonus, could it be because you don't have enough balls loaded for full payout?

it sounds like you have a ball stuck somewhere, slotusa service rep told me to turn machine unside down and tap it on the stand.

also make sure the wires are connected to payout motor, just follow the ball tracks to find it.

Looked for how to post a pic and didnt find anything.
OK I did find something out, when the balls 'miss' they fall out the bottom, when they 'hit' they go into the back plastic and just sit. Maybe thats why the alarm goes off? I'm thinking it triggers a 'full' alert.
Also the pay out motor seems to be more of a sylinoid? It moves a lever up and then pops it down if I'm looking at the right thing.

You might have a ball jammed. Look to see if there is a small hole in the upper left side of the case, a tiny hole big enough for a paperclip that is straightened out to fit into. If so, use the paperclip to press in the switch. This will release all the balls held by the machine. Be sure and have a tray in the back to catch them all.

When the machine is done finishing it's drop of the balls. Leave the tray and try to fill the top hopper with a hand full and make sure it holds and they don't go straight though. If they do, press that switch again. The try the hopper fill.

Is it a Majan Monogatari (Mahjong Story) made by Heiwa in 1991?

See this thread for photos of nethippy's machine:

Yes it is Majan Monogatari (Mahjong Story). I havent had time to shake it around more yet. And though some may disagree maybe I should just make it a pass through since it's not one of the really cool machines? Small monitor, few lights, balls dont really flow right. Oh well need that transformer first.

The big sticker of all Pachinkos is stuck balls, keep your track clean and no junk in the trays.
