    Default A few recent restorations

Well I have been very busy right now. I have a good amount of machines that I have been working on for people. (and with a few more to come) Anyways I thought I'd share a few of them for you guys to drool over.

This first one is a 1971 Nishijin Model B (windmill). The machine was pretty rough when we began but it cleaned up pretty nice. We had to paint the chrome due to the heavy pitting. Also the owner wanted to build a cabinet so I gave him Ken's plans and then ended up finishing and installing a valve for him. All in all it came out looking great and he and his wife loved it. Plus we were able to get it back to them right before all their family came over for thanksgiving so I'm sure it got a lot of play.

    1.jpg2.jpg33.jpg36.jpg37.jpg35.jpgIMG_7041.jpgIMG_7046.jpgIMG_7034.jpg

The last picture is what the completed valve kinda looked like. (the picture is actually of the one I made for my cabinet. It is also my prototype.)

This one a lady brought by and wanted to give it to her husband for christmas. (don't know how it turned out, but I didn't get a complaint call. ). It is a 1973 Nishijin Model B (Rolling stone). Anyways that machine was insanely dirty when she brought it to us. She wanted everything back to original except for the stain color. The chrome on her machine originally was a little rough so I took a frame I had on a junk 74 machine and put it on hers. This one also came out looking great.

And right now I am working on a 1971 Nishijin Model A Aoi Umi and an early 1970 Nishijin Front Overflow for some people. I'm having to redo the backgrounds on them but they are in pretty nice shape.(If anyone wants a custom background printed let me know I need to print off a certain dollar amount.) I'm also revisiting the front overflow I finished a while ago and am building a basic wall mount case for that. (will post more pics once done.)

    Anyways Enjoy!

It is wallpaper. But it ain't your average wallpaper, the stuff is made out of vinyl and is really thick (it is hotel grade). We ended up buying a huge roll of the stuff for next to nothing. I think this is now the third or fourth machine I have used it on. I like it because it looks like something that would have originally been done.

Just sent this one out the door today. It is on its way to Houston right now.

It is a 1968 Nishijin Single Shot. The guy who bought it wanted something as a birthday present for his wife. (which is sometime this week) Anyways, the machine was only lightly cleaned (no back off cleaning) due to the wonderful condition it was kept in. He then asked if we had a cabinet for it. And seeing we were just finishing our first prototype cabinet, we told him yes and then quickly stained it to go with the machine. Needless to say this thing then needed a big box for shipping. Hope it works out for him.
