Sanyo Comet II restored

Hi,

I wanted to share some pictures of my Comet II restoration. This is my second restoration (started first finished second). I had a few more issues than with the first but happy with how it came out. Many, many thanks to everybody who has answered my endless supply of questions. Without your help I surely would have given up as it can be a bit overwhelming. I still need to do the electrical which I will tackle after Christmas as well as need a new sheet of glass. The plexiglass is cracked and scratched. I plan on building a cabinet in the spring when it is warmer, for now just cut some boards as temporary feet. I cleaned everything as best I could and replaced the playfield. The original had some staining and was very yellowed with age. On the case, I originally wanted to remove the Formica but opted to paint it. I went a little radical (more blue just not as dark as my first restoration). I was trying to match the blue in the Sanyo decal on the front below the top tray as well tried to match the blue in the playfield. Please let me know what you think.

Thank you very much. I am sure not everybody's cup of tea as it is a drastic change from what it originally looked like. I second guessed myself the whole way and still do on occasion but I really do like how it looks.
