Default Silver paint removal off plastic

I had a lot of plastic parts with silver over spray on them and tryed everthing to get it off, and what I found that work the best is turtle wax chrome polish and rust remover.

Thank you for that tip! Some one had the nerve to actually mark-up the winning ball tray and upper track on a Nishijin I have with a Sharpie - I've been scratching my head on how to clean that up...I am going to have to give this a try. Does any one feel a physical pain when you see a defaced pachi? Of course, that didn't stop me from buying it...

Denatured alcohol works well on sharpie. I suspect that Novus 2 fine scratch remover would work well as a paint over spray remover, as it is slightly abrasive. Don't know how well it would do on a solid coat of paint.
