Help with slot machine, new to pachitalk

Hi my name is shannon. I just got my mom a aristocrat speed racer slot machine for Christmas. Can anyone help me out with how to find a manual or something so I can see how to change settings on the machine or repair it if needed? I know nothing about it and most of it is I believe in Japanese. Any help or someone who can tell me where to get help I would greatly appreciate it.

Sounds like you have a pachislo. I'm not very knowledgable about those but I'm sure someone will come by and have a little more insight. For now could you try to post some pictures of your machine.

as for the odd the setting can be adjusted below

In order to change odds, machine must be in idle mode with no tokens or credits
being played. Locate internal toggle switch (red tipped or silver with on/off tabs)
or insert key into internal key switch (if your machine came with 2 keys).
Machine must be turned OFF. Turn key clockwise or flip reset toggle switch to
the "ON" or "ODDS" position. Turn main power switch ON to access
programming mode.

A number from 1 to 6 will be displayed on the CREDIT meter on the front door or
on a display inside the door. Locate the reset button. This will be located on
your power supply. On SAMMY brand models, the button is on the inside of the
door only.
Depress the button and notice movement of number being displayed on the
credit meter. Once the desired level is displayed (1 to 6) pull "spin reels" handle
(black or red knob on front door) down, like you are going to spin the reels, to
lock odds level into machine memory. Turn key switch back or flip toggle to
"OFF" or "PLAY" position. Machine should immediately initialize. You will know
the machine initialized if the "Insert Medal" light starts flashing. If not, make sure
you remembered to press down the "SPIN REELS" lever.
If it still doesn't initialize, turn power to the OFF position, wait 15 seconds and

turn power switch back to ON position.

Thank you Wayne-Ooo. That will help a lot. I was trying it out and couldn't figure out what was going on in those bonus rounds. Is it supposed to give you tokens when you win though? This only spits out one usually. Also is there anyway to adjust the volume?

Here's some info on the location of things, including factory volume controls.

But more than likely you will need to install aftermarket volume controls. The factory one's really don't do much.
There are several different kinds that will work. I use these from Parts Express.

Is it supposed to give you tokens when you win though? This only spits out one usually.

If a machine is in credit mode then you will only get payouts if the machine has 50 credits stored already..Once its at 50 everything else will be payed out..

If you want it to always pay out then you either need to put it in cash mode if it has one or keep the machine at 50 credits and put 3 tokens in with each spin..


If its only paying out 1 token above 50 then there's a problem..

Thank you everyone for the help! I appreciate it as this is all new to me. My mom is receiving this tomorrow so I may definitely have more questions after she starts playing it. I'm glad there are forums like this to help or I would've been lost.
