Picked up this Mizuho today!

i recently put an add in craigslist looking for pachinko machines. i got a call earlier in the week from a guy in richmond who had this machine in a storage building that he used to store things he got out of places he was hired to clean out.. he said he had had it for a year or so and was glad to find someone who wanted it. i offered $25 over the phone but when i got there it looked pretty good! just a lot of attic dirt. i gave him $30 . he was happy and i was happy. i got it home today and spent a couple hours just cleaning it up.it came with a couple hundred balls i worked great! plugged up the light to a 12 v power supply and they lit right up as well! i will clean the heads of the pins and let it go at that! all in all a great day!

this is my second Mizuho machine. i love the colors in the cell, they are very vibrant and this one shows no water damage at all.. i might end up keeping this one.

are there people here that collect one particular brand of vintage pachinko's? because i might think about focusing on mizuho machines!

I personally love the Mizuho machines myself for all of the same reasons you describe, plus I find they are the easiest to open up and clean.

I have owned one of almost every brand except for Mizuho, New Gin, Ginza, and 3 Star. I guess I need to go find a few of those.

i post craigslist ads looking for all kinds of things and 4 out of 5 times i will get a hit. and sometimes multiple hits. i find people will type in something they are either selling or thinking about selling and they will see my ad looking to buy said item. an instant contact.
