Can anyone help me with my Lord of the rings slot i get an error code E4 which means Ram error. I do not understand this error code can anyone help? Slot will not reset.

The only way to reset a Ram Error code is to do a "hard reset". I'm guessing you have tried this, being you say it will not reset.
If a hard reset doesn't clear it, my only other guess would be, did the machine experience a power surge? If so, something could be damaged in the CPU, (not good).

I fixed the power supply but it will not reset. Error 4 is a Ram error. I also get a yellow led on the board next to the cpu chip. I think like you said the board chip is fryed. no hope here i would need another board replacement which is almost impossible to get. Looks like its for sale as parts if needed. Too bad this was a nice machine. I have 2 others also with power supplys that are cooked. Someone did not know what they were doing. thanks again. oh yes i have a Popeye with the big screen and an alladin evolution. also a 24 with a bad screen. I took a chance but lost on these. Good thing i did not pay much.

Yes these were on ebay. The 24 slot is like new and works fine just no screen the bulb is shot. 3 blown power supplys. So far 1 fixed the LOTR power supply but the CPU board has been shocked with excessive voltage. Too bad it could have been a great slot. Well the good thing is i am learning more each day about these japanese slots so there is a positive benefit here. I still have 2 more if i can get a working power supply as they both use the same supply. Work in progress. I have 10 slots in my mancave and not one has a compatible power supply i could use to test the other 2. Oh well thats ok.
