    Default token dispenser

im considering ordering a token dispenser from japan that accepts 1000yen bills but i lack 1000 yen bills. and i dont really want to have to buy any yen bills just to use with this machine so the question is... is there any way to get a machine like this to payout when you push a button?

i know that 1000 yen is only like 10 USD but the thing is that i dont want to have to grab the bills out of the bill collector after every 3000 yen or so of tokens i woudl like to be able to rig a button that would trick the machine into thinking money was being put in and mount it on the back of the machine if this was somehow possible but i wouldnt know where to begin.

I think you would have to get it to figure out what needs to be done

i usually just skim over these forums and dont post, but i had to comment-
i made a mame cabinet and know some about these kind of things. Follow the wires coming out of the bill vallidator and if 2 of them go to the same chip try looping the circut and see if it spits out coins. just a thought. you can also find great buttons here- http://www.happcontrols.com/

Basically, it means running 1 wire between the two points so that the bill validator is bypassed. You can either follow the traces from where the validator connects to the PCB or, if you have a multimeter, just find the wire that is hot only when you run a bill through the validator.

My friend has a pinball machine with a bill validator (US) and there is a button next to the metal parts in the inside that will trigger it for 4 tokens, so maybe there is a trip or something. *Shrugs*
