Need help resetting a Kitac Juggler Girl

I recently picked up a Kitac Juggler Girl Pachislo machine that had a HC error code. I figured it just needed a reset or that the hopper might not have a good connection. I tried doing a reset, but when I go to set the odds, the spin knob does not lock in the setting. I have tried pushing it multiple times, holding it down for a while, and nothing seems to work. I tried cleaning the opto interrupter on the spin knob with a q-tip and alchohol. Still nothing. If I set the odds to 6 and hold down the spin knob and then turn the reset key on the power supply, the credit and payout indicators show the number zero. As soon as I release the knob the error code comes up and the alarm sounds. I have tried turning the door key to the left. I have checked the coin mech connections. There are two switches on the bottom of the power supply that I do not know what they are used for or what position they should be in. I suspect that I might have a bad opto on the spin knob. It seems like that is preventing me from doing a reset. If anyone has any ideas on what to check or do next I would appreciate it.

The switches on the power supply operate two different functions.

One of them forces a soft reset at the the end of a bonus round. A soft reset it usually done by turning the door key to the left. You may need to open the machine and hit the reset button on the power supply.

The other causes all the credits to be paid out after the end of a bonus round.


Which is which, you will have to figure out on your own as they are usually labeled in Japanese.

Hi. I have a Kitac Juggler machine that I got as a hand me down. It seems to be broken though. It will not payout. When the motor starts for the payout, it goes backwards and then shuts down. It is not the motor as I have had a professional try the motor in another machine and it worked. Could it be a computer sensor or something in the control board? I dont know what to do. Can someone give me some advice? I called the company in Grandview Products in Suffern,NY (their name and number was inside on a sticker)and they said that this is from a Japanese company that went out of business 7 years ago so he wouldn't even know where to get parts. He suggested I try a forum. Any advice? many thanks in advance for your time.

Thank you! How much would you sell the the Hopper for? Is your hopper a HIME Hopper model 110P? That is what is written on the side of mine.
