Default How to wire the 7 digit LCD Coin counter?

I have seen two posts with people posting pictures with this counter in the Pachislos: !BQOlUv!BWk~$(KGrHgoOKj8EjlLmUE61BJ3v3HJCeQ~~_12.JPG

Both machines have been similar to the machine I would like to install one into. I have both a derby boy and Hokuto no ken (from 2003). They both share the same relay board. I have read their posts and I am a little stuck. I do not have a harness so I would be soldering directly to the status board itself. I am a little confused on what to do with the wires. Heres where I am at:

Red - 12v - can find easily in the machine - I believe the florecent lights use 12v.

That leaves the black, blue and yellow. Here is a diagram I have modified to show my interests. I am only looking to measure coins in and out.
    Original: status board.jpg

It reads "To use these signals you must supply and external voltage of 24v and ground" So does that mean I wire 24v from my transformer to the 24v reset pins? Not sure if thats right.

Heres what I would speculate I would need to do with the extra wires:

Any input would be appreciated! Thank you!

I don't have the kit but by reading what you have put, I would say no, You can't just hook it up to your transformer, As that would be 24VAC and this counter requires a 24VDC supply. You might need one of these walwart PSU (I think thats what you guys call them) You could make or purchase a small cicuit board to convert 24vac to 24vdc. But it would probably be cheap although not as tidy to just purchase a small power supply. If its only for a digi counter, they wouldn't be much current draw.
