    Default V-Trigger interactivity?

    Hey everyone,

Considering picking up one of the V-Trigger games, but was curious if anyone here has played them? Do the games you have played use the joystick frequently, or sparingly? How much interactivity do they have? Do they affect any outcomes on the screen themselves, or are the activities just window dressing? Any gameplay examples are appreciated.

    Thanks!

So far the one game I have that has used the V-Trigger controller the most uniquely (more mini games, etc) has been Fever Ranma 1/2. Fever rounds are pretty controller intensive too. Makes refilling balls impossible without losing your "chance" sometimes.

I love the V-Trigger. I have Eva 7. The controller use is pretty minimal.
I am looking for a Hokuto No Ken (Fist of the North Star) Pachinko/Pachislo. If you have one for sale and are in the USA please let me know!

So there is not a lot of use of the V-Trigger? Does using it affect the outcome of anything at all? (i.e. better payout or chance of match, etc) or is it purely cosmetic?

Well in watching the video for the Ranma 1/2 pachinko at akimono.com, it looks like the joystick is used for a semi-Dragon's Lair game play.

I think because of the laws regarding gambling, the joystick play might not affect your total winnings, but it might alter gameplay so that it is a different experience on occasion.

I noticed that the fever gate is located off to one side, maybe so that when you do have a fever, and are playing with the joystick, it is easier to get balls into the fever gate by just setting the shooter to maximum. This allows to direct your attention to the joystick use.

Dunno. The only time I use a joystick in the left hand is playing Robotron 2084, and then, I am not very good at playing.
