    Hey Lucky,

I did not see the tokenless feature the first time (remember the lazy thing). Real Pachislo? It really is not my idea of a good Pachislo machine. I like the use of tokens in Pachislos and the use of balls in Pachinkos. I only have two Pachislos (Azteca and Outlaw) that I bought from Logicprobe for a much lower price, but I would rather have them than any machine that does not use tokens.

Back to the origin of this thread, does anyone have any information on Texas Auction and whether they are in business or not?

    Best wishes,
    Dave Wile

Yes, gwarzin... that sure looks like the girl that lost her boyfriend in the motorcycle accident to me, too.

Let's see... that was in his second life here... or was it the third?

Regarding Texas Auction - When I was speaking to Curtis about a month and a half ago he mentioned something about going to Japan to scout pachi parlors - maybe that's where he is - or - he may just be taking a break because many of his older pachinkos were not selling, especially since SlotUSA started selling something other than LOTR and Popeye. I doubt that they would be going out of business since they just bought out Republic.

the thing i dont like about TA is that they never start their auctions at a low price they always start them at like 179.

You have to be careful of the gameplay descriptions as well. I called Curtis regarding the game play of one of the machines I purchased - it wasn't working as described in his ad - and he told me that his ads can't be completely accurate due to the limited playtime (about an hour) they receive before the ad is produced.

You mean that WASN'T Bob the Builder in that one machine?

And the Mystery on the Orient was really a chess game???

And there might not be "secrets" that only the buyer will know?

Yes... there's quite a bit of yarn being spun in those TA ads. And the sad part of it, clau... is that people will think that those hype trips are actual game play descriiptions... as we see.

    Gameplay instructions for pachinko:
    1. Turn shooter knob.
    2. Find "sweet spot".
    3. Watch, listen, and melt away from reality.
    4. Reload and/or refill.
    5. Repeat.

But I guess that won't get $180+ per machine.

their description of the fever king was very accurate.

slotusa didn't say anything about the second set of clear reels over the regular ones.

I e-mailed the Texas Auctions guy and he says "We have been out of the office all week, but will be listing more machines in a few days."
