    Default Pachislo Lock Question

So, my Animal Kingdom is missing it's entire lock assembly.

I've scrounged replacement mounting screws from my RC gear pile, but I'm having a hard time figuring out what this lock type is called.

I pulled that out of my Aladdin A-Type (Same chassis) and verified it fit my Animal Kingdom. Exact match, of course.

It looks a lot like the "P" style shown here.

The actuator lobes look about right. Will this work?

Check PachiParts, there are some for sale. You need to know the overall length of the unit and the hook should have a letter stamped on it, (P,J,etc.).

    Here's the link.

It's 2-3/4" OAL, but the problem is the actuator isn't stamped. That's why I'm asking.

Sorry, I looked at the one listed on Ebay, and I think it will work for you. It is possible that the hook may need some filing/grinding to work, but it looks very similar. I've had to reshape some hooks to make it work on some machines and it's really not to hard to do and everything works great.

I agree with Wayne-Ooo, it is hard to judge by pics on the net...but success can be had. My lock adventure took some fitting, but it was worth it! It was on a modern pachinko, but the procedure will be similar. Help with modern lock
