I was thinking, how hard would it be to convert an stander machine playing field to work in ex-change machine. I have lots of machines that the mechanism is so bad it can’t be repair, or the frame around the playing field is tore up, but the playing field is good. I would need an ex-change machine to try this idea, anybody know of one for sale?
Unless you try to be more than you are, what you are is all you will ever be.

Such a cool idea! If I wasn't so in love with this machine right now I would give you a chance to purchase it
But it's very possible I'll want you to eventually work your magic on it so you may get to see if way up close for a while

Finally getting around to cleaning the machine, the frame shined up nicely ( better than expected)

This particular cell is only half cleaned since its taking forever using lightly dampened then dry q-tips ( has some light water damage but that doesn't bother me) it is quite dirty from being stored outside the frame, but I got the decal reattached in the center feature and it needs a tiny bit of paint touch up

Still learning some neat things about it and will post when I get the time

    That is an awesome deal!
Will those cells work on the model B machines? I have a 76 with only one cell, I'd kill for one of those you have!
On your infinity cell, it says "foul" on the right side where the jackpot light is. What triggers that? I have two bulbs by my jackpot light, I thought one was just out. Is the other one a foul light?

We will find out when you take pics of the back of you cell

On these, a foul ball simply ends up back in the tray and you get to reshoot it
As far as I know there's not a light associated with the foul lane
One of your lights should be hopper empty and the other for payouts
    I think

Just finished cleaning up the "Infinity"
And other than some very light paint touch up, and the missing harmony logo thats usually nestled in with the all 15 logo (there's a nail hole where it was attached) it looks beautiful!
I like this cell because of the tulip above the center feature and the design

I've noticed that the cell background base color will range from bright white, to off white (like this one) or even tan
Is this smoke damage or on purpose?

The tan color on cels is so uniform that it seems like its the original color. Every cel that has had tan on it that I've subsequently redone or removed a part from, is white on the unexposed part. So your cel's are different shades based on how much time they spent on the machine and thus, exposed to the fading/discoloring effects of light.

Thanks for clarifying that, I've wondered it for a while

    Uno mas!

    After:

It has the worst water damage of the lot,
    But cleaned up quite nicely!
Also noticed the iPhone enhances color quite a bit compared to my other digital camera, will need to adjust that although it looks great!

And I've finally got around to fixing the lights

    WOW that looks amazing!
I just did a quick restore on a Sanyo that my friend found in his attic, but it didn't come out looking as good as yours! I will have a new thread for it tomorrow.

4 down, 1 left to go!
This is a really nice one, I love that the background fits the theme best out of all of them
I took the before picture with my iPhone as well as the finished pic ( so unfortunately , you will see how NOT dramatic the change is, although it does take a couple of hours, at least, per cell)
The CF in this one had corrosion on two posts and needed to be disassembled and cleaned in order to work. Now works nicely
