Is this "broken" Takasago Pachislo machine worth it?
Hello all. I own 5 Pachinko machines and can't get enough of them. I recently came across a Takasago Pachislo machine for sale. The seller won't take anything less than $75 for it, however it does not work. He couldn't go into detail about what is wrong with it, except that it "doesn't pay out" and "might need just a reset". I got the impression he didn't know what was wrong with it. I am very good with the mechanical workings of vintage Pachinko machines and I am an Electro-machanical Assembler by trade. My only concern is whether or not it might be a simple reset or something worse, like broken and irreplaceable parts. He says that "the door can be opened with a screwdriver" to get inside the machine. Any info or tips on this machine? I don't know anything more than it is a Takasago Pachislo and hope that you guys could help in my decision to buy this potential new toy. Sorry for the poor photo quality.
