LotR not consistently shooting balls. How do I get in to check?

I have a LotR Pachinko machine that is not shooing balls consistently. I'm fairly new at any type of repairs, so I was wondering how do I open the bottom area where the hardware is? The key obviously opens the front, but I need to get to the area below that where the knob and trays are, and didn't see any obvious latches or clips to open it up.

turn the key to the left to open the glass only, then look on the bottom edge,

you will see a latch, press that to open the bottom section of the door

Is the shooter firing and no balls coming out. Or the shooter failing to fire at all.

Fails to fire at all. I have to play a little with the knob before they start shooting out.

Got an idea?

maybe a loose or poor connection somewhere

try reseating your dongle, Also make sure you have a firm grip on the shooter knob and your hand is touching the metal ring on the back, Also worth checking, the stop button on the knob. Make sure its not stuck in, and when you start to turn the knob, The button pops out
