I think I'm going to cry
I responded to an ad on craigslist that was over a week old for a King Camel Pachislo. I have wanted one for a while after seeing it in person at a place called Fantasyland at a child's party. I got in touch with the seller and he said that he had no idea what the machine was worth, and that no one had called him yet. (So far so good. The machine should still be available.) I would not in good conscience offer a ridiculously low amount, but I figured that I still could get it for a reasonable price. As it turns out the seller threw away the machine. He said that there was no interest so he put it in the garbage. How could anyone throw away something that is so cool? I can feel the tears coming now. Either that or I can feel a self inflicted kick in the butt on its way. The worst part is that I wrote down the info days ago and just plain forgot to call. I could have saved that machine from a landfill or it going home with a garbage man. Not that there is anything wrong with garbage men, its an honest living, but I am the one that wanted one of those machines to add to my collection. Now my chances at owning one are going to be reduced by one. I should have called when I got the number. I swear, I am going to stop my procrastination starting tomorrow. ; ) Hopefully some day I will end up with one, but for now this is the one that got away.
