Default 1965 Dodge City Pinball Finished!

I bought this machine from a pinball shop here in Omaha...Pinball Past. The owner, Mike has been very kind to help me fix up these pinballs! I've bought 2 beat up machines from him so far because I told him I have more fun fixing them up. So he gives me good deals and practically gives me parts for free!

The last one he sold me was Dodge City and WOW...this one was a tough one! I fixed up a Bally's Old Chicago and it was a breeze compared to this one! I needed a lot of parts..coils, bells, flippers..but mostly it needed a really good cleanup. So I cleaned up this one (all the leaf switches and relays) for about 2 weeks and with the help our friend Emmadog and Skydanz on pachitalk, Mike and PBResources...I finally got this thing working!

Here's a little video of it in action.

    Nice nice machine... very envious.

My 64 World Fair Gottleib came from Omaha too... around 77-ish? Dad saw it when he was there on a college reunion (went to Creighton) and had it trucked back home to California. Best xmas present we kids ever got.

I love those old machines. Wish I could find more of them, but like pachinko, I live in a pinball desert. I enjoy working on them as much as playing them. I get a lot of pride bring an old machine back from the dead.

    Nice find. Enjoy!

Thanks guys! I would have to rate Gottlieb at the top, then williams, ballys, chicago coin. Just love that Gottlieb sound on these old EMS! But anything pre-1970s sounds good to me!

Love the bell sounds but I'm a big fan of the chimes which a couple of my pins have.
