WTB CR Yamato 2 cel for Fuji Oval One frame.

Okay Space Boat fans.

I have an original CR Yamato 1 in the Fuji OvalOne frame. CR Yamato 2 released 14 months later and I am assuming (perhaps incorrectly) that it will fit in the original OvalOne frame.

Anyone know anyone with a CR Yamato 2 cel that is gathering dust. I hear it's an amazing machine and makes the CR Yamato 1 CGI look like childs play.

Just putting some feelers out there.

can you provide any pictures of the rear of the machine, If there are any difference between the frames, The back will be the best place to look, as the fronts look the same.

I'll get them later.. Jewish New years for me. HOWEVER Since they are both Fuji Oval one should not be a change... AS you well know DC some swaps are easier than others
The V-Trigger frame swaps in seconds... I have seen this done right in front of me and its amazing how it does that... The thing IS though sometimes the cell just does not look right in the frame
your swapping into!

True. But as I found out on my Heiwa Lupinasu frames. They look the same from the front. But the back is very different. Depending if it is the full screen version or not. And those aren't interchangeable

I am going to think about getting a V-trigger frame by itself, ONE of these days...
I can get one for $20 USD, BUT it cost $280 +/- with buyers fee, payment fee and shipping!
WOW that hurts for JUST a frame, BUT so many kewl cels are are out for it INCLUDING Macross, Eva 7, as well as Yamato 4!
Welp I JUST wrote out my daughter tuition check so I have to dream for now...
OH BTW DC my daughter is going to go to The University of East Anglia in 2nd semester! I AM going to visit at some point, I'll be able to visit all my pachi friends over on YOUR Side of the pond IF anybody
wants to meet me!

Yamato 4? Or do you mean Yamato Revival? I think the V-Trigger is a Sankyo machine and they had the rights to Yamato Revivial, just like they got the rights to Dai Yamato Zero-Go. Sankyo did two machines on the Dai Yamato series, the last one was the Dai Yamato 2 for the Lumina frame. Now they just released Yamato Revival. It looks pretty cool, but new cast and all. I may take a chance with the CR Yamato 2. It looks really good and I can get it over here for about 200.00

Well there is a Yamato 3 that is quite different from the first 2 as its NOT a Fuji Oval 1. Yamato Revival is not so much a new cast
as Kodai is a LOT older and he is married to Yuki has a daughter etc. more of a 20 year later deal

Yeah, Yamato 3 doesn't use the OvalOne at all, so I know that one won't work.

I probably have missed out on this because Pay Pal and Bill Me Later can't get their Heads out of their collective butts. I had 110 dollars available and the transaction was for $75.00 to actually have Juno purchase the item.

Bill Me Later denied it and said they never got the transaction from Pay Pal...Pay Pal said Bill Me Later denied the charge. Both pointed at each other.

I'm so peeved right now, but sometimes this is nature's way of telling you it wasn't meant to be. Maybe there will be a future listing or if the cel doesn't sell the seller will relist.

Frank at Akimono.com tried to get me interested in a Yamato Revival machine. I looked at some in action video on youtube and it has some cool stuff on it, like the popout yamato.

I don't know what the game play is like, however. It's a Sankyo V-spark machine and that frame is really popular now.

I told him I was interested in the Cel because I'm running out of room and that's no lie. Well the Yamato 2 Cel didn't sell, so we'll see if the seller relists. I did a search on Space Battleship Yamato on Yahoo.jp and most of the hits were for the Revival's either in full sets or desktop mods. I did see one Yamato 3 cel and a bunch of parlor "swag".

I'll keep trolling the yahoo.jp waters and see if another opportunity arises. It appears there was a bug in the system that Bill Me Later didn't like the fact that my shipping address didn't match the address they had on file. Stupid.

I know next time how to send the money, so if I get a second opportunity, I'll be ready.
