    Default Japanese Style: 90's Modern

What a week for early moderns.

This one is a Nishijin "Japanese Style" Early Modern. Looks to be one of the first "slot machine" style machines that are common today. The LED segments in each "reel" display a distinct symbol. Match the symbol, get paid.

This is a 7/15, so we now start to see the early evolution of a Payout computer/system which regulates your payout instead of the payout being simply triggered by the winning ball as is the case in Hanemonos.

Local Pickup only though, so those in the Maryland area, you might want to take a look.

The spin sound would annoy me after a while but I love the falling sakura animations!

Looking at the back, it appears that the mechanics are still based on the model C. Since it's a 7 or 15 I'm curious how it changes payout. I'm guessing that they modified the payout tray so each lane could be controlled individually. If you win a "7" then the tray with 7 balls empties, if you win a 15 then both the 7 ball and 8 ball trays empty. Is that how it works?

if i rember right the payout is set at 7 balls. for some pockets you get a double pay and you winning ball.. for others you only get a single pay and loose your winning ball.. but its been a while since i played one
