I think you're on to something there... Had a rather lucky game on my (older model) Satomi last night and the light came on (doesn't say IC, but its above the coin slot like yours) when I hit maximum payout - 10 on mine. If yours is set at 5, then it would follow that it would come on after shooting out 5 tokens. Whether or not the payout button is stuck probably won't make a difference, because putting in a coin will trigger payout of anything registered anyway.

I'm wondering about that connector that goes nowhere on the coin mech... like its continually trying to pay out the last game's winnings and never sees them. Do you have any clue what those wires connect to on the coin mech?

Not sure about that connector. I do remember though that other members with the same machine have that connector loose as well.

I tried switching the switch on the back of cartridge "B" to 10 instaed of 5. This time is continuously kept paying out tokens. It kept trying to dispense tokens even after it was out of tokens.

I really think the problem is with the "B" cartridge. I really wish someone nearby had the same machine with a known working cartridge so I could do a swap to test this theory. Not likely though.

Looks like my next move will be to document everything well and then find someone to take the whole machine to for repairs. Could get pricey but definitely worth it. I really love the machine and have been playing it quite a bit lately. It does track scores properly now that the lights are installed, my friends and I can compete for score. Just want to have everything right on the machine.

Also need to get a key made for the lock.
