I got carried away when I joined eBay back in 2001. Got three pinballs, one of which was a Space Invader which needed the ROMs reprogramming before it would work. Upright videos including OutRun, HangOn, After Burner, ... Basically completely filled my house. Then in 2009 I decided I needed smaller machines, so I sold everything and started buying Pachinko/Pachislo machines. The first was a non working Gundam Pachislo for £10. Turned out the transformer primary and secondary windings had shorted, putting 240V on the Pachislo power supply. Luckily these PSUs have a varistor in them which protects from over voltage. So after replacing the transformer, varistor, the switch mode IC and a zenner diode it worked fine again.

Now cycling through machines finding a few keepers.

Looking forward to learning more about these machines here.
