Very nice machine. I have to tell you the machine you have as an avatar is now priced at ten dollars in the Austin Craig listing, went from 30.00 to 10.00. If it wasn't such a far drive through traffic I would get it just to look at.

I am headed back up to Tulsa on Friday to pick up the beauty! And I have a raw tabletop cabinet to assemble paint and decorate in order to house it
Thinking of incorporating illustrations from the fairy tale somehow

This machine has Monkey Magic printed in English on a homemade sticker but I think it might be something else, Gibisans has it listed as CR Fever Heaven and google translate calls it Fever India
The monkey on that pachinko looks like the Monkey King from the "Journey to the West" stories. Does the video display show a monk, a pig, and a monster?

It does have three side kick type characters that are featured in the numbers and animAted reaches

There is a pig ( he's a bit of a lush according to his animations)
And I bet the green guy with a bird beak and pointy ears could be the "monster"
I third character is a princess,
Will play some more to research the monk
the bottle by the monkey king moves down over the screen and sucks in and spits out numbers) It's really cool
    Thanks heima!

What the heck, I was posting in another thread, and it appeared here. Go figure.

Anyway, yep, that is the "Journey to the West" characters. This is a famous story from Chinese Literature. The pig is a drunk and a pervert. You might see a black horse, ahem, as well. I believe the princess rides the horse, though she might turn into a dragon on occasion. The monk might not appear if the princess is there. My ex-wife told me about this collection of stories, and with time my memory has faded.

I'll do a little of my own research as well,

    Update on this machine,
after making a second 8 hour round trip drive to Tulsa, Here are some pics of the newly refurbished machine, cardwwi's restoration work is impeccable and I couldn't be happier, surely it hasn't looked like this since it was first released

(The only thing left is to find matching tulips to replace the faded butterfly decals)

And as a side bonus, I was able to get a fever janken battle machine from a Tulsa seller on craigslist for $50!

originally I wanted this machine from Galaxy Restorations because it was pictured in their ad ( turned out they don't have those anymore )
wasn't very happy when I found that out on my first trip up there

So it turned out to be a very fruitful journey!!

    Thanks so much Bill!
