Default Pachinko machines with online connections?

Does anyone have any experience with pachinko machines that need to transfer information to the manufacturer or support sites? I see many machines that have ports in the back which look like phone cord connections. And a few of the Kyoraku machines I have use the Pachilog function...which I am sure needs to upload your progress to the Pachilog site in order to track your missions and experience. I don't know if connecting the machine will raise a red flag to the manufacturer, or if it will simply not work at all? There's just no way to know without messing around with it, and there are no resources online for it (at least, not in English)

The 'phone cord' connections found on the CPU boards of pachinko machines are not there to network machines, they are so that the gaming inspectors can plug in a device that ensures that the pachinko machines are not running modified code. Older machines have a rectangular red connector with a wide slot in it for exactly the same function.

Sorry to say, but plugging them into a phone line or computer network isn't going to achieve much beyond the possibility of damage to the pachinko CPU or phone line.

So do pachinko machines typically not have any online connectivity? Do they not communicate data to the manufacturer or link up with servers to track player progress? If not, then there must be a way to get the game to provide a QR Code to send that updated gameplay information to my Pachilog app. Right now, the only options it gives are "Mission Progress" and "Data Clear." Mission Progress shows what missions have been completed, and how much EXP each gives. (see pic below)

If it is a CR machine, then perhaps user data is stored on a customers CR card much like a slot card keeps stats for a player on vegas slots.

    Just a thought.

I'm not sure, because Pachilog is Kyoraku's online service, where your stats are meant to be kept with you via the mobile app. It uses a QR Code system to register in the mobile app which game you are starting to play.

Are the Pachilog QR codes shown on the LCD screen of the game? If so then maybe the play data is encoded in the URL embedded in the QR code and sent to Kyoraku's servers when you scan the QR code with your phone.
